SamSung BlueRay SoundBar July 24, 2010 Yeah I connected this to a SamSung Plasma and it's perfect. The bass is excellent and the sound quality from the soundbar is great as well. Fairly easy to use interface to connect to Netflix and Pandora.
PLayback from the blueray is excellent.
I like the look of it and I was using it in about 10 minutes.
Really nothing bad to say about it.
OMG great product July 11, 2010 George S. Mcknight Great product even though it is very pricy. but wow the sound quality is everything my 4 front piece Infinty system is
Good idea but incomplete product July 10, 2010 D. Routh (Houston, TX United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our BD Theater is setup in our bedroom and plugged directly into a Samsung 55" LED TV. Didn't want to go for the full blown surround sound setup as one would for living or media room.
Pros: Form factor, design/size, integration with Samsung TV, video & sound quality (including upconverting), internet streaming
Cons: Turns itself on/off randomly, very slow to read/load Blu-ray disks (some wont load at all), could use additional digital audio input, analog audio input isn't with the other inputs (behind) so it looks goofy having an iPod pluged in
Would I buy it again? Probably not unless I was certain the self on/off and slow read/load of Blu-Ray disks issues were solved.
Great features, poor quality July 4, 2010 Jennifer M. Sparks (Denver, CO USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
About two weeks after I received the unit, it wouldn't power on. I called Samsung support and they offered to repair/replace the unit, no questions asked. I returned it, and about 2 weeks later I received the replacement - I can't tell if they repaired the unit or sent me a new one. The replacement unit won't play DVDs (Audio CDs seem to work). Another call to Samsung resulted in me upgrading the firmware, which didn't solve the problem. Since all of the other features seem to work, I tried to get them to send me a new one before shipping back the old one, but no joy. They did extend my warranty for 90 days, but now I have to box the damn thing up and send it back again. I hope it works this time.
Needs more improvments March 26, 2010 Paul B.E (Fremont, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
1- Technical support is not very familiar with this product, and I am having hard time to explain the problems to them and most of the time they don't have answer to the questions.
2- It is silly that for a simple and very common problem like "disk jam", you have to send the whole unit to their repair center to get the disk out of the unit, and there is no other simple solutions to release the disk.
