Bose who??? Please don't waste your money on Bose. This system is GREAT! They may look small but they rock the house. I have it set up as part of a 7.1 system and no matter if it is watching a movie or listening to music they deliver crisp and excellent sound. Highly recommend.

I have no complaints with the purchase. The units are discrete and carry great sound to my ear. I am not an audiophile and they are connected to a cheaper AV receiver, so I can't judge them accurately as 3 or 5 star quality. They are solid and heavy and feel about what I'd expect.

I absolutely love my speakers! I looked around for a long time trying to find the right ones and I am very grateful I stumbled onto these on Amazon.com. Just last night I watched a movie and thought to myself how wonderful the speakers are. I highly recommend them!
Very nice surround system February 11, 2010
Analogue Wins
Probably not on par with a multi-thousand dollar system, but excellent for the price. Easy to set up, well built, sound is excellent for it's stated purpose - a surround system. Since they were a pre-Christmas special we paid only $200 for them. It's doubtful anything else in the price range would perform anywhere near these. Very little time was needed to adjust amp and subwoofer settings to get the desired sound from them. It should be noted that a subwoofer is an essential companion to these speakers. They are compact enough to fit nearly anywhere in the room and aesthetically pleasing.
If one seriously listens to music these aren't the best choice. As noted, they are great for movies, but the old Marantz speakers these replaced do a far better job with orchestral pieces in particular and music in general. One can expect only so much from compact speakers, even with a subwoofer in use.
